Our Profile
Gorgones kai Mages AQUAVITA is the first private baby swimming centre in Greece, built from the ground up around the specific needs of infants, in order to serve baby swimming exclusively. Across our two state-of-the-art facilities we teach our little ones while having fun, and with great joy and pride we slowly become their second family!
First in Greece
We started in 2007 as the country's first baby swimming (baby swimming) pool. Since then, every one of our decisions is guided by the hygiene, safety, and progress of the babies and their families.
Absolute specialisation
Baby swimming is the only activity that takes place at our facilities. This is why we can offer high levels of care, safety, and expertise, as well as plenty of options for the days and times lessons take place throughout the week, for every age.
Academic partnership
Our educational programme is organised and supervised by Mrs Giouli Bizirgianni, exclusive partner of the School of Physical Education & Sport Science of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki on matters of baby swimming.
Qualified trainers
Every instructor holds a university degree in Physical Education and is a certified lifeguard. Small groups guarantee the best possible quality of lesson and help us avoid overcrowding, protecting our little ones from illness.
The AQUAVITA Method
The AQUAVITA teaching method of Gorgones kai Mages is unique and is the result of long-term observation and experience.
No flotation aids that touch the children are ever used, as these make children complacent and delay their progress. This way, children achieve very fast results — while playing! From as early as 2.5 years old, they float safely with no other assistance.
Graduates of our programme are ready to join competitive swimming teams immediately after completing it.
Our journey
