What baby swimming is
Gorgones kai Mages Aquavita is the first baby swimming center that operated in the country, starting in 2008. The program focuses exclusively on baby swimming and offers a structured, playful, and safe environment for infants and young children.
Baby swimming is the only physical activity an infant can follow from the age of three months. It supports development through play, guided movement, and close contact with the parent or attendant.
Our lessons are designed to help each child feel safe, confident, and comfortable in the water while developing important physical and emotional skills.
Main benefits
Supports the development of coordination, balance, and movement control from an early age.
Encourages healthy aerobic activity and builds a strong physical base over time.
Contributes to overall well-being and resilience through regular, gentle activity.
Helps babies and toddlers feel secure and relaxed in the water.
Creates shared moments in the pool that strengthen the bond between parent and child.
Exercises are hidden inside games so children learn naturally and happily.
How classes work
- Classes take place twice a week for each group.
- Each lesson lasts 40 minutes.
- Lessons happen in a bright and pleasant environment.
- Exercises are blended into games so the learning process stays playful.
- From 3 months until the child can float safely on their own, the child enters the pool in the arms of a parent or attendant.
